EDMONTON, AB, November 13, 2025 — The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Edmonton and North is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacey Claffey as its new President & Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Claffey succeeds Lisa Baroldi, who has served as BOMA’s CEO since 2020 and is stepping down after five transformative years of leadership.
A recognized leader in commercial real estate and operations, Claffey brings over 20 years of executive experience spanning property management, operations, sustainability, and marketing. Since joining BOMA Edmonton and North as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Marketing and Events, she has played an integral role in expanding membership engagement, strengthening organizational performance, and elevating BOMA’s industry profile across northern Alberta.
“Stacey’s depth of experience, strategic vision, and proven leadership make her the ideal person to guide BOMA into its next chapter,” said Cam Naqvi, Chair of the BOMA Edmonton and North Board of Directors. “Her ability to bring teams together, build partnerships, and deliver results is exactly what our industry needs as we navigate rapid change and growth.”
Before joining BOMA, Stacey held senior leadership positions with RioCan REIT, ONE Properties, and Katz Group Real Estate, where she was recognized for operational excellence and team development. Her extensive background includes overseeing multi-million-dollar portfolios, championing sustainability initiatives, and fostering collaboration across the commercial real estate community.
“It’s been wonderful to serve alongside Stacey these past years,” said Lisa Baroldi, outgoing CEO. “She brings passion, innovation, and a deep understanding of our members’ needs. BOMA is in excellent hands.”
Claffey is a Certified Real Estate Professional (CRRP) and holds many industry certifications, including University of Alberta’s School of Business and the Wharton School of Business. She is also deeply engaged in the community, with a long history of board and volunteer service across Edmonton’s business and nonprofit sectors.
“I am deeply honoured to step into this role,” said Stacey Claffey. “BOMA has an incredible legacy of leadership, advocacy, and community impact. I look forward to building on that foundation, strengthening our relationships, advancing innovation, and supporting our members as we shape the future of our industry together”.
Under Claffey’s leadership, BOMA Edmonton and North will continue to focus on member engagement, advocacy, education, and sustainability, while expanding its presence and partnerships across northern Alberta, Yukon, and Northwest Territories. The organization will also build on its momentum in the multi-family sector, supporting members in this growing area of opportunity and innovation.
