You’ll gain a full understanding of the diverse aspects of property management involved in analyzing a building in its entirety. The RPA® program will teach you to maximize a building’s net income while minimizing risks, thereby enhancing your standing in the industry and positioning you for long-term success.

What is a BOMA Edmonton education session?
BOMA Edmonton defines an education session as a 2-3 hour engaging classroom style event or series of events on a topic that matters to our membership – commercial property owners, managers, service providers, and students and emerging talent interested in careers in commercial real estate.

  • Consider yourself more than a speaker. You are an educator, facilitator, thought leader, instructor. Sessions must be an engaging educational experience. We ask speakers to share expertise, innovative ideas, and resources, tips, and tricks with the session attendees in an interesting way instead of just presenting for 2-3 hours.
  • Session attendees may have a great deal of knowledge and insight themselves on the topic. Please consider if your session is for advanced, intermediate, or beginner. If you are not sure, we can help you determine the level of your session.
  • Speakers are not paid. You will have exposure during the session itself and via our communications and marketing channels, which can lead to professional visibility, recognition, credibility, and influence.
  • Attendees include property managers, facility managers, industry suppliers, building operators and asset managers, students who are looking for creative solutions, innovative trends, and the latest technology.
  • BOMA Edmonton is particularly interested in workshop style sessions that engage the audience with the speaker and each other.
  • The best sessions speak directly to an audience’s need, they are educational, and as interactive as possible, they encourage questions, and participation from the audience – they are never a marketing or sales pitch!
  • Applicants may submit more than one proposal. Each proposal must have a separate application.
  • Applicants will be provided with PPT Guidelines for the preparation of their respective sessions.
  • Venue accommodates up to 45 people in classroom style or 65 people theatre seating.
  • References may be required upon request.
